Welcome and good day to you! I'm Yvonne and my goal is to spread the love and creation of living book spaces throughout the world!

I started this vlog to document my journey spotlighting different book spaces I encounter. I've loved being around books since I was a little girl. I recall calm Sunday afternoons perusing through Barnes and Noble with my family. I would never want to leave. Aaahhh those were the days.

Outside of Ybooks, I am a teacher and life learner of languages. I've previously taught Spanish and currently teach English in a local school district to English language learners.

What is a "living book space?"
Great question! A living book space is any space in which books are thoughtfully placed to inspire conversation and interaction. These book spaces are where people frequent. In other words, they are among the living haha!
